I left school nearly 40 years ago returning only upon retirement from a long career in business. My educational goals are purely for self-improvement, entertainment, and, most importantly, to prove I can do the work at a high level. As a young man I was rarely more than a marginal student. As an adult, I am (so far) a summa cum laude student. I always believed I had that in me and now I know it. As a retiree, I work as hard now as I did before retirement. It keeps me engaged, involved, and feeling young.
