Robert Dugoni is the author of the New York Times and San Francisco ChronicleThe Jury Master, (Warner Books 2006) a legal thriller published in twelve foreign languages, as well as The Cyanide Canary, (Simon & Schuster 2004) - a Washington Post 2004 Best Book of the Year Selection, and the Idaho Book of the Year. His second novel, Damage Control, will be published by Hachette Book Group USA (formerly Warner Books) in February 2007. Robert is a two-time winner of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Award for fiction. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with a degree in journalism and clerked as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times before obtaining his doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. He has practiced as a civil litigator in San Francisco and Seattle for nineteen years. Robert is also an accomplished speaker and teacher. He has spoken to numerous organizations including the Boise's Literacy Lab, The American College of Trial Lawyers, and the Arizona Bar Association. He has taught the craft of writing and getting published at the Pacific Northwest Book Sellers Association, Pierce County Community College, the Willamette Writer's Association, the Bellevue Young Authors Day Program, and the Pacific Northwest Writer's Association.
